Channel Island-based hospitality group reconfirms commitment to Mocrosoft-based management platform
Liberation Group, a market leading pub, restaurant and drinks business based in the Channel Islands, has implemented the Drink-IT solution from K3, a UK provider of solutions based on Microsoft technology, to improve the day-to-day running of the business.
The new system, which includes financials, customer relationship management (CRM) and stock ordering, will support The Liberation Group with its future growth plans.
Acquisition fuels IT overhaul
Declan Hearne, The Liberation Group finance director, said: “The business was acquired in 2008 and one of the key actions post-acquisition was to implement a standalone IT solution, as the previous system did not meet our needs going forward. We needed a faster, slicker system in place to manage all of our data and the K3 technology was the best fit for us.”
Hearne continued: “We are able to expand the solution as and when we need to. The system has been up and running for around 18 months and compared to the previous technology the K3 solution is far better. From day one the system did what was required and we continue to look at ways of getting the best use from what it has to offer.
John Little, sales director at K3, added: “The Liberation Group is now equipped to better manage its data across the company.”
