250% increase in new customer referrals following launch of dedicated SEO website

250% increase in new customer referrals following launch of dedicated SEO website

Online photo developer Truprint has seen a 250% increase in customers signing up to its online service after launching a new dedicated search engine optimised (SEO) website.

The website, photos.truprint.co.uk, which runs parallel to the main Truprint website, was created by digital agency Mosaic Brighton with the aim of bringing in more web traffic and pushing sales of digital prints, personalised photo products and gifts. It’s achieved almost three times the conversion rate of web visitors signing up, as customers compared to those who signed up to its old SEO site this time last year.

Digital future looks bright

“SEO is a long-term strategy for Truprint,” said Carolyn Searling, digital marketing manager at Truprint. “What Mosaic Brighton has done is build a dedicated, fully optimised site from scratch and we’ve reaped the benefits with a raft of new customers.”

The website is being promoted via competitions on Facebook and specialist competition sites.

“The reason for the increase in sign-ups has been a combination of two things: SEO techniques and the design of the site itself,” said Drew Griffiths, Mosaic Brighton managing director. “The type of traffic we attract is far more likely to take an interest in the product, meaning higher conversion rates for Truprint. The quality of the site content also means a higher likelihood of customers signing up.”

The site was launched in December 2009.
