Bespoke retail system from specialist electronic point-of-sale (EPoS) solutions provider enhances business control and improves capabilities

Scotland's largest chain of specialist running shops, Run 4 It, has selected EPoS provider Nisyst to provide a fully integrated bespoke retail system to bring together its stores, website and a third-party website. The NPoS 6 solution features point-of-sale, stock control and e-commerce functionality and was designed specifically to meet Run 4 It’s business requirements.

Nisyst worked closely with Run 4 It to design a system that would enhance control of the business through accurate reporting and increased capability. After initial consultations with Run 4 It, Nisyst liaised with the third party to develop a solution that allows full e-commerce integration with real-time updates as purchases are made both online and in store.

Complete integration, designed to fit

The solution provides enhanced business control with a finely tuned reporting function featuring sales and VAT analysis, a larger range of capabilities including purchase ordering, profitability breakdown and inter-shop transfers and a more user-friendly interface, offering Run 4 It a significant competitive edge.

Ian White, director of Run 4 It said: “Full integration between our stores is critical for effective running of the business. Nisyst has provided a customised solution that gives us the ability to access sales and stock information quickly and easily from any location, which is crucial for business control and organisational efficiency.

“The system adapts to our business needs and provides us with ultimate flexibility, increasing productivity across the board. Nisyst was also able to meet our criteria of completely integrating our e-commerce function with our shops across one common platform.”
