Online application inspires customers to create an authentic look with perfect fools’ custom app
Perfect Fools, the Stockholm and Amsterdam-based creative studio, has developed a new online application enabling fans of Converse shoes to customise and purchase a pair of sneakers that fits their individual style.
Asking users ‘Which Shoe Are You?’ the app is an integrated feature of the global fashion brand’s UK website. Users start by clicking the ‘Create’ option on the home page and are invited to start shaping their ideal shoe using several style templates – ‘Rock‘n’roll’, ‘Skate’, and ‘Preppy’.
Adding that personal touch
Users are then presented with a series of additional choices to help refine their shoe in line with their personal look. Options include Hi/Lo, Night/Day, Leather/Canvas, Custom/Original, and Good Boy/Bad Boy. Once the process is complete, users proceed to the site checkout and have the option to share their creations – via Facebook, Twitter, Tumbler and Blogger.com.
The app is part of Converse’s online ‘Create’ platform designed to offer customers greater choice and personalisation.
‘Which Shoe are You?’ is the latest in a series of initiatives created by Perfect Fools to enhance Converse’s off and online retail experience.
Perfect Fools recently celebrated Cannes Lions success for its work on a groundbreaking digital, retail, and artistic project – the Converse ‘Canvas Experiment’ – taking home silver in both the Promo and Design Lions, and a bronze Cyber Lions. Made up of nearly 500 Converse Chuck Taylor All Stars sneakers, and capable of displaying low-resolution video, the Canvas Experiment launched last month and continues to garner international attention.
