Each To Their Own has deployed the cloud-based electronic point-of-sale (EPoS) system from Cybertill throughout its business.
Each To Their Own has been trading since 2005, initially with a small workshop in Sheffield. This has since progressed to standalone stores in Leeds and Sheffield city centres, and more recently a third store, that also doubles as a showroom, near Meadowhall. The retailer also appears to be bucking the current malaise on the High Street, with plans to open a flagship store in Manchester and also another boutique in Birmingham.
Managing stock more reliably
Alex Christopher, the founder and owner of Each To Their Own and the designer of his own eponymously self-titled label, commented: “With the continued success of the stores and the rapid growth of our own label, Alex Christopher, we really needed a more reliable process of tracking our stock levels, monitoring best sellers and stock look-ups from other stores to ensure we don’t miss any sales. With plans for a fourth and fifth store, it’s now imperative to have an in-depth and reliable stock system.”
Each To Their Own had been investigating EPoS systems for a while to help them manage to business and stock. “Cybertill was one of the more modern systems we looked at and offered a solution to every problem we have encountered when counting and locating our stock,” explained Christopher.
“We can now easily check levels and availability of any item and can even show the customer an image of the item to ensure we are ordering the correct colour. We can also easily link the sales from our website to the EPoS system with very little fuss. This means we no longer have to worry about continually manually checking stock levels.”
