Daily Mail Group owned group buying website appoints Affiliate Window for performance marketing

Wowcher.co.uk, a new UK daily deal group-buying website, has exclusively appointed Affiliate Window handle its performance marketing activity.

Similar to Groupon, Wowcher.co.uk harnesses the power of collective buying by offering consumers one deal each day, redeemable only if enough people also buy the deal. Wowcher is also part of A&N Media, the consumer media division of Daily Mail and General Trust (DMGT).

Performance marketing network operator Affiliate Window said it has seen a high success rate with group buying affiliate activity, having successfully managed the Groupon programme since April 2010. It added that Wowcher.co.uk provides an excellent avenue for retailers to increase brand awareness and gain exposure on key products or services, using location based services to target relevant customers.

Driving response volumes required

“We appointed Affiliate Window as our sole affiliate network for their reputation within the industry, their award-winning tools and technology and their in-house account management and partnerships teams. We believe this combination, along with an open attitude to relationships between advertisers, network and publishers, is vital to us driving the volumes we need,” said Paul Treanor, response director at Wowcher.co.uk.

Anthony Clements, client services director for Affiliate Window adds: “Wowcher has a progressive attitude towards the performance channel and I feel confident that our industry-leading tools and account management will help their programme to flourish.”

In the coming months, Wowcher.co.uk will continue to grow their overall marketing plans both online and through above the line campaigns. The business will strategically focus on new customer acquisition and retention, coupled with increasing brand recognition.
