Store footfall software installed in flagship London store to analyse shopper behaviour
High-end gentlemen’s tailor Gieves & Hawkes has engaged visitor analytics provider, Experian FootFall to provide shopper insight for its flagship store, No.1 Saville Row.
The new technology from Experian FootFall will enhance the retailer’s intelligence around consumer behaviour to optimise customer service and profitability in Gieves & Hawkes’ stores.
Thermal imaging to boost performance
Data from the three thermal imaging cameras will be used to monitor visitor traffic, match staffing levels to visitor patterns and ensure the optimum approach for service and sales conversion.
Sam Thompson, IT manager from Gieves & Hawkes, commented: “We are delighted to have formed the partnership with Experian FootFall.
"Having the right staffing levels is especially important in our stores where the sales approach is a key differentiator and customers are expecting a high level of service and interaction. We hope to be able to use the data to form shift patterns in the future and once the service has bedded-in we plan to roll out the technology across our other nine stores.”
