Launch of new mobile website solution is just the ticket for car parts e-retailer
Multichannel e-commerce provider eSellerPro is celebrating early success for its newly launched mShop product with aftermarket car parts e-retailer, PassionAuto.
The provider said mShop, which is a software module designed to allow retailers to create simplified mobile websites, can either be delivered as a standalone product without the requirements for a primary eSellerPro website service or integrated with the retailer’s main website. It added that mShop also offers retailers its own stock control options if required, enabling it to display items on the mShop that may not display on the primary website store or vice-versa.
Responding to customer demand
Simon Doidge, director of PassionAuto, commented: “We continued to get an increasing number of requests from our customers regarding a mobile enabled sites, so we saw the creation of a PassionAuto mobile site as the next logical step. Setting up our mShop using eSellerPro was a simple and quick process and we have already begun to notice the benefits.”
Retailers can include their own customised branding within the mShop design to ensure consistency for customers who use both standard and mobile sites and it also offers PayPal integration.
Keith Bird, eSellerPro chief executive, said: “Mobile shopping is only going to continue to increase in popularity and our mShop solution is just the first step in supporting retailers in this journey.”
