Los Angeles-based fashion retailer signs up for new store software
Kitson recently signed a licence and services agreement with Island Pacific to manage and optimise its stores' product mix.
The US-based retailer, which has stores in Los Angeles, Malibu, Santa Monica and on Robertson is scheduled to open three new stores in Fashion Island, Irvine Spectrum and Santa Barbara soon.
Comprehensive management capability
The agreement covers the Island Pacific merchandising suite and includes merchandising, financials, replenishment, promotions, Viewpoint, Direct for e-commerce, and Store for point-of-sale. The Island Pacific software will provide Kitson with the tools to grow its brand while making it possible to maintain the store merchandising assortment unique to each of its retail stores.
Christopher Lee, Kitson chief executive, stated: “Kitson growth plans call for a unified, integrated system that will be able to grow with us and address the needs of the marketplace. We are confident that Island Pacific can and will provide the solutions and tools we need to accomplish our goals both now and in the coming years.”
