JML, the retail screen promotions and direct response (DRTV) home shopping specialist, recently chose the Venda e-commerce platform to grow its online sales in the UK and Europe in the run-up to Christmas.
JML Direct needed a flexible ecommerce solution that would be operationally efficient to support its growth plans for the online business. As a result, the company selected Venda based on its previous experience building fully scalable, secure and reliable e-commerce websites for retail brands including Heals and Emma Bridgewater.
On-demand model offers flexibility
The provider said its on-demand cloud model also offered the stability and flexibility required by JML Direct for trading over the busy Christmas period – a time that generates high volumes of traffic and transactions – without impacting its end-customer experience.
In addition to the core technology, Venda is providing the incremental service and support network required for an assignment of this size. It reported that it was able to deliver the JML Direct project quickly using Venda Quickbuild, which gives customers a project timeline to follow, specifically designed for their needs.
Venda also worked with JML Direct to maintain and enhance a number of additional features including multi-currency payment solutions in both sterling and euros, support for JML Direct’s affiliate partners such as tagging and feeds, dynamic banners based on country and currency selected and detailed product videos. These features help JML to offer a truly multichannel experience that is able to respond to seasonal fluctuations effectively.
