Video product features provide a new addition to beauty retailer’s online performance marketing activities
Affiliate marketers using the affiliate dashboard of The Body Shop can now download videos for their website featuring product content directly from the retailer.
Expert marketing collaboration
The addition of video content is the result of collaboration between FusePump, Coull and TradeDoubler for the beauty retailer that is designed to enrich the consumer experiencem while also helping merchants and affiliate marketers to drive sales.
The affiliate dashboard is powered by FusePump and promoted by TradeDoubler for The Body Shop’s affiliate programme. Now the addition of the Coull video performance network enables affiliates to either publish affiliate videos from the merchant, or by integrating tracked affiliate links with their own video content.
Centre of affiliate marketer focus
Every video contains a direct link to the relevant product page, which can be shared across all social media platforms. Verity Beard, account manager for the Body Shop at TradeDoubler, commented: “The dashboard has been a real focus for our affiliate programme. It has allowed us to run effective affiliate recruitment and retention campaigns, publicise offers directly and keep the affiliates engaged and updated all in one place.

She added that the collaborative effort helped win the best managed affiliate programme at the A4U Performance Marketing awards this year.
