Manufacturer puts customers first with a global roll out of integrated CRM systems

Dyson, a manufacturer of vacuum cleaners, fans and heaters, recently revealed it had decided to implement the SAP customer relationship management (CRM) application across its global operations.

The roll out is designed to help deliver on its high expectations for the customer experience and follows an extensive evaluation of the CRM software available in the marketplace.

Delivering on vision of customer experience

“Having taken a long hard look at the marketplace we felt that SAP is best placed to help us deliver on our vision,” David Hollander, Dyson UK & Ireland managing director stated.

“We are an ambitious business and have set ourselves the vision to drive demand for Dyson products through better customer service and proactive relationship management. With the SAP CRM solution, we will be able to interact with our individual customers in a way that suits them and at a time that suits them.”

The CRM implementation programme called One View is scheduled to start in the UK and Ireland in the third quarter of this year, followed by US and Canada.
