Inventory tracking equipment maker strengthens channel links with new PartnerNet Programme

Inventory tracking equipment maker strengthens channel links with new PartnerNet Programme

Intermec has introduced PartnerNet, the company’s new global channel programme designed to provide better predictability, profitability and growth for partners.

The vendor said PartnerNet members can capitalise on new business opportunities by using Intermec’s deep industry knowledge, strong sales support, and new programme features to achieve greater results.

Intermec is significantly investing in the channel with its new independent software vendor (ISV) programme, enhancing ISVs abilities to develop and more efficiently deliver innovative solutions. The ISV programme has been designed to empower members to provide differentiated solutions and measurably grow business through access to a rich partner ecosystem, robust technical support, and go-to-market resources.

Looking to position partners for the upturn

The company pointed to a number of PartnerNet benefits that it said will accelerate new growth opportunities, including project registration to protect member return on sales investments; a Partner Relationship Management (PRM) system, equipping members with enhanced communication and tracking capabilities; and performance-based rewards that offer members financial incentives for high performance in delivering Intermec solutions.

The programme will also deliver these benefits in conjunction with predictable account management, which Intermec said would provide members with clear customer account rules of engagement.

“We are strengthening our focus on the channel to improve the ease of doing business with Intermec,” commented Jim McDonnell, senior vice president of global sales at Intermec. “With these new programme features PartnerNet members will be strategically positioned to find new markets and further take advantage of growth opportunities together with Intermec as the economy continues to recover.”
