RBR and the ATM Industry Association have once again joined forces to produce Europe’s largest ATM conference.

Centred around an extensive speaker programme based on deployer case studies and featuring an extended exhibition area, the event will focus on the role of the ATM in today’s banking markets and economy, and look to the future of retail banking.

This year’s event features 45 speakers – including more than 25 ATM deployers and networks – with almost 20 countries represented on the programme, from western, central and eastern Europe, as well as North America, Africa and beyond.

A wide range of topics will be covered at European ATMs 2012, including presentations on contactless technology at the ATM, the role of the ATM and kiosks amongst electronic banking channels, ATM acquiring, ATM pooling, the future of ATM functionality and the future of cash. A panel discussion will also explore ways of reducing the cost of cash management in Europe.

Many of Europe’s leading retail banks will be speaking at the conference, together with several guest speakers from outside the region. Featured organisations include Spain’s la Caixa, Bank of Ireland, Italy’s UniCredit, Turkey’s Akbank, Sweden’s SEB and Canada’s BMO Financial Group.

The organisers said the event brings together over 400 banks, independent deployers, network processors, vendors and service providers, and takes advantage of RBR’s 30-year commitment to the European ATM sector and ATMIA Europe’s not-for-profit work in the ATM industry.
