Fashion retailer promotes excellent customer service with new wireless communications system in its flagship London stores
High Street fashion brand Oasis has installed a Quail Digital (QD) lightweight headset communication system in its flagship store on Argyll Street, London (pictured) and its Westfield Stratford City store.
The QD Retail system was specified and supplied by Intrepid Security Solutions. It is being used by staff across both stores for general operational activities, including assisting shoppers in fitting rooms, to improve the speed and efficiency of response to customer requests.
Complementing digital technology use
The latest installation complements the brand’s introduction of digital technology within its stores, further enhancing customers’ overall shopping experience and delivering a more personalised service.
“The Argyll Street and Westfield Stratford City are prime site stores and, as such, are very busy,” commented Darren Mudie, Intrepid Security Solutions technical director. “Quail’s ‘always on’ duplex system means that staff across departments can communicate instantly, ensuring stock is replenished and customer requests are responded to even more swiftly.”
The Argyll Street store has 5,100 square foot of trading space, positioned over two floors, making the wireless system particularly advantageous, facilitating communication to all areas. The base station for the headsets is positioned between the two floors, allowing for optimum performance and coverage in the back-of-house basement areas.
