Supergroup selects new back-office PCs

UK fashion retailer upgrades managers' PC back-office support and commences UK and Ireland store estate roll out

Supergroup, the retailer behind street fashion brand Superdry, is in the process of upgrading all of the back-office PCs used by the managers of its UK and Ireland store estate. 

It began the roll out of the cielo point-of-sale (PoS) PC from provider Box Technologies in May 2013, with 130 units installed across the UK and further units required for international expansion. 

Back or front of store processes

Box’s cielo i3 modular PC unit is designed to provide high performance, flexibility and scalability instore, allowing it to be utilised in the back office. 

Neil Hooper, business systems manager at Supergroup, commented: "We selected the Box cielo solution, after a competitive tender, due to the physical size of the product, its durability and also its high processing power and speed. It is well designed and built, and is completely fit for a demanding retail environment."
