By Retail Technology | Wednesday September 11 2013

Leading fashion and lifestyle brands expand their presence online with global cost per action marketing network

Rakuten LinkShare, a cost-per-action (CPA) network, has announced it has signed 10 new fashion and lifestyle brands to its network.

The affiliate marketing company will handle CPA programmes for these new clients, which include Pull&Bear, Hobbs, Cocosa, Country Attire and Barratts, working to grow their online presence.

The brands will be able to take advantage of Rakuten LinkShare’s range of publishers from leading style blogs to sophisticated augmented reality mobile apps. Hobbs continues to ramp up its digital offering with affiliate marketing alongside its focus on multichannel and international commerce, while Cocosa taps into seasonal trends and colours to curate its products across a range of publishers.

Varied fashion and lifestyle successes

Alongside these signings in the fashion space, luxury and lifestyle retailers COOK, Rakuten’s Play.com, GiftVault, The Diamond Store and Thierry Mugler (part of Clarins group) also joined the network. With consumers browsing popular lifestyle blogs, voucher and review websites, as well as social sharing ‘wish list’ apps, Rakuten LinkShare said these brands are well placed to reach both existing and new customers by partnering with online sites that appeal to the holistic shopper, who is interested in buying from varied brands that suit their lifestyle.

Mark Haviland, Rakuten LinkShare managing director, commented: “Our expertise in the fashion, luxury and lifestyle sectors means that we have the perfect experience to create and maintain valuable partnerships for these brands. We are very proud to be working with such a great portfolio of clients, all of whom possess the ambition and progressive culture required to get the best out of this very valuable performance channel.”

The network also recently announced signings with international luxury brand, Lane Crawford and High Street fashion brand, River Island.
