Bespoke store audio service will enhance store experience for customers of multichannel department store and support its creative and individual style
Contemporary lifestyle retailer Oliver Bonas has appointed music and video technology specialist, PlayNetwork, to create a unique audio customer experience for its stores.
The chain – which specialises in clothing, jewellery and homewares – selected PlayNetwork to design a bespoke audio service for its stores. The provider said it has developed a cool and classic playlist for the brand, whose target market consists of affluent urban professionals.
The playlist includes French artists to give off a chic atmosphere, and interesting remixes to complement the brand’s creative and individual style. The PlayNetwork audio technology also allows Oliver Bonas to modify music throughout the day to reflect the atmosphere and time of day.
Matching distinct brand with sound
“PlayNetwork has created a distinct sound for Oliver Bonas, which aligns with our brand identity and the core messages we want to send out,” said Donna Gutteridge, operations project manager at Oliver Bonas.
“The playlist has been carefully targeted to our customer demographic and enhances the customer experience, as well as strengthening our brand image.”
Oliver Bonas will opened its fortieth shop on last Friday at Liverpool Street Station and plans to open nine additional shops in 2014.
