Crate and Barrel rolls out new online experience

Home furnishings retailer Crate and Barrel has deployed new software to improve its customers’ online shopping journey
The company has launched the new SaaS solution to create a more seamless online shopping experience across the Crate and Barrel, CB2 and The Land of Nod brands.
Moxie Software’s Concierge was selected as the digital engagement technology for the project due to its ability to improve customer relationships and engage visitors with relevant, contextual information and assistance across the entire decision journey.
Using Moxie Concierge, a brand can connect with customers on their preferred digital communication channel and device, increasing conversions, revenue and retention.
"Seeing our mobile traffic grow nearly 30%, year-over-year, with more and more of our customers shopping on tablets and mobile devices, our goal was to select a tool that offered a superior mobile experience," said Joan King, VP of ecommerce for Crate and Barrel. "It was also critical that the tool be easy to use and administer for our business users. Moxie provides comprehensive reporting so that we now have visibility into both the context of customer communication and the effectiveness of digital channels."
Rebecca Ward, Moxie chief executive, added that while most people now use a range of devices for on-the-go purchasing, many businesses still grapple with low conversions due to a lack of engagement on the mobile web.
