Dutch shopping mall unveils 'social mirror

By Retail Technology | Tuesday September 20 2016

A Dutch shopping mall is bringing the vast world of online fashion vloggers into clothing stores with a mirror that provides live online fashion advice

The Hoog Catharijne mall in Utrecht has unveiled a full-length mirror that combines the reflection of a shopper with an on-screen video chat connection.

Top fashion vloggers and bloggers from YouTube, Facebook and Instagram are then able to join the shopping experience in real-time and provide personal tips as shoppers try out outfits.

The most famous Dutch fashion vlogger Serena Verbon provided the styling advice when the social mirror debuted at the weekend.
