Europris deploys store planning software

Norwegian discount retailer Europris has deployed new software to streamline store planning and layouts
The company has selected JDA Floor Planning and JDA Knowledge Base to extend its JDA Category Management footprint, tying together already deployed JDA Space Planning to create a central store repository for both planograms and store layouts.
The retailer needed to automate its space planning process through one common space repository for both planograms and layouts. In addition, it required increased control of store layouts while optimising allocation between departments and categories within each store.
Europris space manager Fredrik Wessel said: "JDA was a natural choice for extending our category management deployment and we look forward to the ability to refresh layouts more often, particularly seasonally, while giving us a macro view into store performance so we can be more nimble in adjusting our offerings to meet the 'me commerce' era of today's consumers."
