Online fashion retailer Missguided has selected its tech partner for its full scale move into physical stores

It has entered into a strategic partnership with Intercity Technology to deliver and support the IT infrastructure of its first ever bricks-and-mortar shops.

The enterprise mobility and IT specialist has already worked closely with Missguided to plan and execute the technology strategy behind its 21,000 sq ft flagship outlet within east London’s Westfield Stratford City shopping centre.

Following a competitive tender process, Intercity was selected to provide a broad range of IT infrastructure solutions, including IP telephony support, wired and wireless connectivity for its store systems and clients in-store experience, data security, software updates and a comprehensive single point of contact support services, all delivered as a managed service complete with 24/7monitoring.

David Pollitt, head of IT operations at Missguided, said: “For a fast-growth online business embarking on its high-street journey we needed an agile IT solutions specialist that would be able to adapt and grow with our ambitious plans. During the tender process the Intercity
team gave us the confidence that they had the expertise, commitment and resource to deliver on this brief.”
