City Furniture launches IBM apps

By Retail Technology | Wednesday May 24 2017

Florida-based furniture retailer City Furniture has launched three of IBM's MobileFirst for iOS apps

It's using Sales Assist, Payment and Finance for iPad Pro to be used by its in-store associates to create a more efficient and personal shopping experience.

It is rolling out the apps to 400 store associates across 15 showrooms, as well as the 12 Ashley Furniture HomeStore showrooms the company operates in Florida.
The apps give store associates real-time access to the more than 8,000 SKUs complete with full product data.

City Furniture is using IBM’s Bluemix cloud platform to link the new apps with existing apps and data.
