By Retail Technology | Wednesday June 7 2017

Amazon has launched a shopping app for its Fire TV service that allows users to purchase via their TV screens

According to a report in TechCrunch, the app lets Fire TV users search the Amazon website by typing in text as well as filter search websites by departments and browse product listings from their TVs.

Users can also watch videos about the products, see star ratings, view what other things customers purchase, and read product details and customer reviews.
