By Retail Technology | Tuesday July 11 2017

The Yoox Net-a-Porter Group has opened a London Tech Hub to focus on mobile commerce and artificial intelligence

The online fashion retailer said its goal is to put mobile at the centre of its technology in line with customer demands.

CEO Federico Marchetti added that the hub – which can house up to 650 IT experts - will move the company from being ‘mobile first’ to ‘mobile only’.

Yoox Net-a-Porter plans to increase its spend on tech and data science by $567 million, as well as increase its share of mobile sales to 75% by 2020.
