Arsenal FC scores with ecommerce update

By Retail Technology | Monday August 21 2017

Arsenal FCÂ’s online store now allows fans to shop faster anywhere, anytime and with a choice of currencies due to new software

These improvements follow an extensive market research programme which extracted valuable insights from the Arsenal fan base - including their needs, motivations, shopping habits and engagement preferences when shopping online.

After implementing SAP Hybris Commerce, ArsenalDirect.com has racked up a string of impressive statistics including an 86% rise in mobile transactions, 48% increase in sales outside the UK and 42% increase in sales as a whole.

"Our new ecommerce platform has helped provide a speedy and reliable shopping experience for our supporters," said Simon Lilley, retail director, Arsenal Football Club.
"Results have been fantastic, and we will continue to build on this to meet the needs of fans wherever they are in the world and however they choose to shop."
