Juice bar chain installs integrated network video security systems to help with shrinkage, shopper insight and on-demand visibility
Zest Juice has selected EyeSpy247's integrated internet protocol (IP) camera and online network video recorder (NVR) system to provide supplementary video intelligence support to their existing electronic point-of-sale (EPoS) technology.
The specialist IP CCTV provider has just rolled out its platform to all of Zest's five juice bars located within prime shopping centres in the South East of England and has already aided Zest particularly in areas of loss prevention and customer profiling.
“We've been looking at CCTV for a while now but couldn't find a system that offered the practicality and ease of use that we needed. Then I came across EyeSpy247's solution and it has already helped us in a number of ways, not least in terms of determining shrinkage, shopper mix and just being able to monitor staff and customer interaction on demand using my laptop or mobile, no matter where I am,” said Ewan Tilbe, chief executive of Zest Juice Bars.
Hosted service provides resilience
Unlike traditional CCTV the system from EyeSpy247 securely transmits and stores recorded images and video offsite to a network of servers located in a Tier 1 data centre, providing further peace of mind to Zest, knowing that it can access its data at any time.
The provider added that, as a complete camera, recording and alerts platform it has provided Zest with an all encompassing turnkey offering at a fraction of the cost of a comparable hardware/software solution with improved flexibility offered by its ability to work alongside yet independently of third-party EPoS systems.
Tilbe added: "EyeSpy247 have proven their worth as far as I am concerned with their committed approach to service and we are already seeing bottom line benefits on our investment."
