Target signs on with Google Assistant

By Retail Technology | Monday October 16 2017

US shoppers can now shop at mass retailer Target from anywhere in the United States through Google Express and with the Google Assistant

Consumers can purchase and reorder their favourite Target items and brands with 2-day delivery, as well as free shipping for any orders over $35.

Target customers will also be able to opt in to receive personalised recommendations and a quick re-order experience based on past Target purchases as Google Assistant will already know which size and variety they wear.

Google has also announced that Google Express will soon be eligible on Android and iOS phones.
