C&A expands ecommerce reach

By Retail Technology | Monday March 26 2018

Clothing retailer C&A has expanded its ecommerce reach with a new online shop serving 11 additional countries

It launched the new EU shop this month and saw the number of countries it serves online stretch to 20.

The additional eleven countries are Croatia, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, the Czech Republic and Hungary - where C&A already has branches -  as well as Denmark, Finland, Greece and Sweden, where the company was not previously represented.

Good news

Dr. Andreas Hammer, director of  ecommerce Europe, said: “We know that many people from these countries regret that they cannot order our fashion online. The launch of the EU Shop is good news for them.”

The new EU Shop is a standardised English platform for customers from the eleven countries and all prices are quoted in euros, regardless of the local currency.
