Londis launches shopping list app

By Retail Technology | Monday October 1 2018

UK convenience store Londis has launched a shopping list app powered by Ubamarket

The app provides an end-to-end solution including shopping list, product locations, loyalty, scan and go technology, product offers and in-app payment and is the only app on the market which offers this.

It will first be available for customers at Londis stores in Southampton, which will also be the first to offer it to customers to use with HTEC’s EPOS system.

It allows customers to complete their food shopping purchases using their own phone and has the ability to locate the goods on your shopping list and give you the ideal route around any Londis store to find them.

Speeds up

It also facilitates in-app payments which remove the need for customers to queue or unload items.  Its creation speeds up service and allows customers to pay at the checkout using a QR code.

CEO and Founder of Ubamarket Will Broome said: “Following the success of our launch with the Budgens group, I’m delighted that we are now moving across to the Londis group with our first store in partnership.”
