Fulfilling upgrade for rue21
By Retail Technology | Wednesday January 2 2019
Fast fashion retailer rue21 has added multiple new fulfilment options with a software upgrade
The company is now using multiple Kibo solutions including buy-online, pickup in-store (BOPIS) as well as Kibo Order Management (OM) solution and in-store associate training.
Through this selection, rue21 will be implementing Kibo’s enterprise-grade OM solution with inventory tracking capabilities, allowing the retailer to seamlessly integrate with its existing inventory system solution and ERP system.
Additionally, with Kibo’s cloud-based OM, rue21 will also look to provide online shoppers with broader delivery options such as BOPIS, helping drive traffic into local stores.
Additional purchases
With increased in-store traffic, rue21 will be able to drive motivated shoppers into its local retail stores, further incentivising them to make additional purchases.
“We selected Kibo because of the company’s strength in offering an out-of-the-box solution which minimises implementation time, as well as the company’s collaborative approach for implementation and help in designing highly-effective process flows,” said Steve Lyman, SVP of supply chain at rue21. “With Kibo, we look forward to offering our shoppers a true omni-inventory experience and improving their shopping journey at rue21.”
