Polish convenience store chain Żabka has implemented a new technology-led store format across its network

In partnership with Microsoft, this vision of the “Shop of Tomorrow” was presented during the recent Żabka 20th anniversary celebrations.

The prime focus for the remodel was due to research that showed that an accelerated pace of life, convenience and the saving of time have become increasingly important.

According to a survey conducted by Żabka, 69% of adult Poles admit that convenience during shopping is crucial for them, while 65% of the respondents are looking for solutions to make their lives easier.

Advanced tools

The “Shop of Tomorrow” includes advanced tools that will enable, among other things, the reduction of customer service time, more convenience and customer-friendly offers, improved product range to buyers’ expectations coupled with optimised logistics.

“It is a very special moment for us – the presentation of this idea coincides with the 20th anniversary of Żabka’s presence on the Polish market, where it has found resounding success and  has become an attractive partner for global leaders,” said Tomasz Suchański, CEO of Żabka.

Microsoft is not only a technology provider but also Żabka’s partner in the process of digital transformation: starting from model building through a selection of solutions and partners through the entire process of implementation and management.
