Carrolls Irish Gifts optimises ecommerce

By Retail Technology | Friday January 3 2020

Irish gifts, clothing and jewellery retailer Carrolls Irish Gifts has announced a new partnership to optimise its ecommerce platform

The retailer is teaming up with Tryzens to enable it to access the full power and benefits of Salesforce Commerce Cloud.

One of the retailer’s core strategic objectives is to provide a smoother experience for customers shopping on its website as its customer numbers continue to grow.

With the website’s current platform set to reach end of life, Carrolls Irish Gifts recognised that it needed to upgrade its ecommerce operation to improve the customer experience and provide a solid foundation for further international expansion.

Multiple payment

Tryzens will use its Spark solution to support Carrolls Irish Gifts to move its web platform to Salesforce Commerce Cloud.

Spark provides retailers with a pre-built Commerce Cloud platform that includes integrations such as Google Shopping, multiple payment and tax services and analytics.

Brian Howe, head of online & marketing at Carrolls Irish Gifts, said: “Taking full advantage of Spark is a fantastic opportunity for us because it means that we can have all the benefits of Salesforce’s powerful platform, but in a much shorter timeframe and at a lower cost.”
