SPONSORED NEWS: Philips brings touch monitors to ISE 2020

By Retail Technology | Tuesday February 11 2020

Philips monitors will be sharing its stand with Philips Professional Display Solutions at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2020 from today

Touchscreen technology is a key feature of Philips monitors at ISE 2020.

Equipped with projected-capacitive (P-Cap) touch technology, models such as the Philips 222B9T, 172B9T and 162B9T offer fluid, intuitive use and can easily handle up to 10 points of contact while ensuring peace of mind thanks to advanced IP54 protection against oil, water and dust.

Beyond their high-performance anti-glare SmoothTouch displays, the monitors include USB 3.1 high-speed data transfer, Flicker-Free and LowBlue Mode and an articulating stand that enables users to choose whichever height or angle they prefer.

Multiple connectivity options are also included, such as VGA, HDMI, USB 3.0, and DVI. All displays are equipped with TN panels and come with screen sizes of 22”/54.6 cm (222B9T), 17”/43.2 cm (172B9T) and 16”/39.6 cm (162B9T).

Green capacity

Also on display at ISE 2020 is the 27”  (68.5 cm) Philips 272B1G, which relies on a host of energy-saving features and technologies such as the PowerSensor, LightSensor and Zero Power Switch. Built from 85% post-consumer recycled plastics with TCO Certified Edge, this eco-friendly monitor is free of mercury, halogen, and PVC-BFR, and uses 100% recyclable packing material.

This year, a special focus has been placed on touchscreen, SuperWide, docking and green monitors, but many other surprises lie in store as well.

ISE visitors will have the opportunity to experience the widescreen capabilities of Philips monitors with the expansive 439P9H SuperWide VA LCD display. Its generous 32:10 format is the equivalent of two full-size high-performance monitors, easily replacing the cable clutter and complications of multiscreen setups.

In addition to this model’s 43” (110.2 cm) 1800R curved display, the monitor comes equipped with a wide array of features including USB-C, Adaptive-Sync technology, DisplayHDR 400, MultiView, a pop-up Windows HelloTM webcam, a built-in KVM switch, and much more.

This is only a taste of the Philips monitors on display at ISE 2020. All visitors are warmly invited to visit the MMD stand to learn more about these and other Philips displays and solutions available in a wide array of formats and specifications.

Philips monitors / MMD is exhibiting at ISE 2020 in Hall 10, booth 10-H170,10-K170.
