Pret A Manager trials click and collect

By Retail Technology | Thursday June 18 2020 | UPDATED 19.06.20

Sandwich chain Pret A Manger has begun a click and collect trial with five of its London shops

Available exclusively through Deliveroo, Pret customers can order and pay remotely through the Deliveroo app, and on arrival skip the queue to head to a designated point within the shop to collect their order.

Pret is also currently testing different points in shops for pick up, including a ‘hatch’ system which means customers won’t need to enter the shop during COVID-19 restrictions.

After the initial trial, Pret aims to extend the click and collect service to more shops over the coming months.

Alex Chisholm, digital transformation director at Pret, said: “Click and collect is a great way of offering a fast, contact-free service for our freshly made food and we look forward to making it available to more customers in the coming months.’
