Man United nets new payments option

By Retail Technology | Thursday October 15 2020

Premier League giants Manchester United is giving fans a new interest-free payment option for merchandise

United is partnering with Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) provider Laybuy to allow fans to buy club merchandise in the Megastore in Old Trafford stadium and spread their payments with weekly interest-free instalments over six weeks, via the Laybuy app.

Manchester United director of partnerships Sean Jefferson said: “We are delighted to be partnering with Laybuy to provide fans access to a more convenient way of purchasing club merchandise and services.”

Laybuy will look to further integrate its offering across a number of the Club’s other retail platforms in 2021.
