Yamamay enhances sustainability

By Retail Technology | Thursday February 11 2021

Italian underwear retailer Yamamay has expanded its product lifecycle management (PLM) initiatives

The retailer is using Aptos PLM to benefit from improved traceability, control and transparency across the entire product lifecycle.

Enhanced use of Aptos PLM provides Yamamay with complete traceability for all materials and components used, including fabrics, cups and underwires. The solution also empowers Yamamay to track communications and activities with suppliers and to centralise the management of certifications and processes related to quality control and environmental compliance.

And in addition to enhanced PLM functionality related to traceability, Yamamay is also leveraging dynamic line planning within Aptos PLM that allows its designers and merchandisers to reach new levels of collaboration.

“Yamamay has been utilising Aptos PLM for over a decade, and throughout this time, the solution has continued to evolve to support the needs of our business, our customers and the overall retail market,” said Barbara Cimmino, CSR director at Yamamay.
