ASOS expands fulfilment management deal

By Retail Technology | Thursday April 15 2021

Online fashion retailer ASOS has expanded the deal with its current fulfilment management provider to cover its latest distribution centre

The new contract expands ASOS’s eight-year relationship with XPO Logistics and covers the new 437,000 square foot distribution centre at Fradley Park in Lichfield Staffordshire.

It is expected to commence operations in August 2021, creating about 2,000 new jobs over the next three years. The extended contract also renews XPO's long-term contract to manage the existing ASOS flagship fulfilment centre at Barnsley, South Yorkshire.

Mark Holland, COO, ASOS, said, "Over the past eight years, the XPO team has proven itself to be a superb partner for us, so we are very pleased to be expanding the scope of XPO's role as we build the foundations for our future growth in the UK and around the world."
