Writing instrument brand Staedtler UK has launched a new B2B app

Staedtler UK has selected Software as a Service (SaaS) provider Adventoris to develop its digital presence in a move to enhance and streamline its operations and improve its customer experience

Adventoris is the creator of SwiftCloud, a leading mobile app for distributors and wholesalers that provides businesses with a platform that enables their customers to see products, communicate with the company and make orders 24/7.

Prior to SwiftCloud, Staedtler UK was using an ordering system which was often time consuming for staff and customers, relying heavily on email or phone orders, and sales representative visits.

Digitisation

Through introducing an ordering app powered by SwiftCloud, Staedtler UK has now digitised its customer ordering process, with 60% of its invited customer base having now downloaded and logged into the app.

Managing director Staedtler UK Philip Wesolowski said: “Before SwiftCloud, our trade sales channel operated with manual order capture and order entry which was very time consuming for both sales and customer service staff. Manual processes also led to errors resulting in credit notes and a less-than-perfect experience for the customer.”
