By Retail Technology | Tuesday November 16 2021 | UPDATED 16.11.21

Online fashion retailer Boohoo Group has announced a new partnership to transform its global finance business functions

Boohoo has entered a strategic partnership with digital transformation specialist Nexer and Microsoft, to support its ongoing business improvement and enhancement of the customer experience.

Initially, Nexer and Microsoft will be working with Boohoo to replace its legacy finance solutions with the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Application, providing a solid foundation for the retailer as it continues to grow at an unprecedented rate.

The new systems are due to go live Q1 2022, with the move expected to enable the optimisation of business processes, whilst allowing Boohoo to access critical business data at speed to support its appetite to drive positive change at pace.

Experience

Nexer will be the consultancy partner leading the delivery of projects, and was selected based on its significant experience in successfully implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 technology in the retail sector, and the flexibility of the service provided.

Pete Templeton, finance director at Boohoo, said: "Finance underpins every aspect of our business, and this partnership will further develop and modernise Finance within Boohoo so it can continue to support the Group's growth ambitions."
