Samurai slashes processing with new software

By Retail Technology | Monday January 17 2022 | UPDATED 17.01.22

Sports brand Samurai has added new automaton software to position it with scalable, sustainable growth

Samurai has chosen Brightpearl’s automation engine to have its orders, inventory, warehouse and fulfilment processes streamlined and automated, while easy Plug & Play integrations with third party apps means syncing with the brand’s existing Shopify setup is seamless.

With Brightpearl powering its operation, the ecommerce retailer has gained access to a powerful automaton tool that saves the average customer two months every year, as well as reducing errors by 60% and cutting labour costs in half.

It means the team can stop spending hours manually processing orders, creating invoices and entering data into complex spreadsheets and start focusing on growing fearlessly.

Data

Crucially for a DTC business like Samurai Sports, inventory monitoring across multiple sales channels and access to meaningful, data-driven forecasting has been made easy with Brightpearl’s Demand Planner tool.

Simeon Bird, CTO at Sanurai, said: “Tools like Demand planner and the automation engine give us all we need to scale efficiently for many years to come.”
