Supermarket giant Asda has announced new partnerships aimed at enhancing its omnichannel offering

Asda has selected Blue Yonder’s order management to accelerate its omnichannel transformation and Bringg’s delivery and fulfilment cloud platform to make each element of the supply chain seamless, connected and orchestrated.

The move is expected to see Asda improve customer experience by processing orders faster to improve the customer experience;
enhance visibility with real-time inventory visibility from the beginning of the shopping experience; connect with the entire supply chain, considering the capacity to fulfil demand across any channel, at any time; and revolutionise online shopping with dynamic slotting options for both home deliveries and pickup in store in partnership with Bringg.

Asda CIO Carl Dawson said: “Omnichannel is at the heart of our strategy and customer proposition, where we want to provide a great customer experience and a seamless user journey.”
