Jardine revs up finances

By Retail Technology | Monday June 13 2022 | UPDATED 12.06.22

Automotive retailer Jardine Motors Group (JMG) has chosen a new partner to transform finance and accounting

JMG has selected Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) for its contextual knowledge of the automotive retail sector and proven ability in transforming outdated financial systems.

TCS centralised, standardised and automated JMG’s finance function to ensure more innovative and efficient data processing.

To meet JMG’s objective of becoming a digital-first automotive retailer,
TCS also designed, developed, and implemented the new “JMG Datahub” platform on a Microsoft Azure Data Lake, to deliver a “single source of truth”.

Agility

This increases business agility and enables the leadership team to develop insight-driven strategies which support the finance department in delivering their commercial objectives.

David Muir, FD at JMG, said: “Having an instant line of sight into our activities and a clear understanding how we're performing daily in terms of our KPIs has been truly transformative for our business.
