Westbrook Cycles goes up a gear online

Cycle retailer Westbrook Cycles has re-platforms its website to increase orders, page speed and session duration

Westbrook Cycles partnered with Remarkable Commerce for the project and has also developed several new functions for the Westbrook Cycles Parts Finder system, which enables customers to find specific components to fit their existing bikes. 

Cyclists can now quickly find their specific bike components out of the 20,000 items on the site, without even knowing the name of their make or model, using a tailored image-finding system developed by Remarkable. 

The re-platforming of the website has seen a 60% year-on-year average-order-value growth, a 15% increase in page speed, and a 40% increase in session duration and engagement length. 

Owner and director of Westbrook Cycles, Paul Richardson, said: “The Remarkable Commerce team were able to easily recreate a custom function that we had previously designed on our old site. But they re-imagined particular elements of it, which made it much easier for us to now manage the components for each bike and have greater control over the entire parts finder."
