Italian wholesaler and grocery retailer Apulia Distribuzione is to deploy an AI pricing tool across 200+ Carrefour locations in Southern Italy

Apulia will be implementing the Revionics’ Base Price Optimisation solution to allow it to make pricing decisions that achieve stronger financial results and better satisfy customers' expectations.

Founded in 2001, Apulia collaborates with major brands in the wholesale sector and greatly expanded its retail network when it acquired the master franchising rights for Carrefour locations in Southern Italy.

To optimise and scale its pricing function, Apulia selected Revionics’ advanced and fast-learning AI pricing solution that can streamline and automate pricing decisions across locations, products and formats. The tool will allow Apulia to improve consumer price perception, increase market share and out-price competitors with confidence.

“Adoption of the most innovative technologies that can help delight our customers and elevate business performance is an essential part of our strategy,” said Massimo Loporchio, CIO at Apulia Distribuzione
