L’Oréal expands accessibility

By Retail Technology | Tuesday January 24 2023 | UPDATED 23.01.23

Cosmetics giant L’Oréal has unveiled a new computerised makeup applicator to add extra accessibility for consumers

The company’s Hapta technology aims to help those with limited fine motor skills apply makeup more easily using an ergonomic handle with a magnetic attachment at the top.

It also has a “clicking” function that allows users to maintain the application position they’re in, and save it for future use.

The new technology will be piloted through L’Oréal brand Lancôme with a lipstick applicator.
