Classic British brand to launch online store extending availability to customers across the UK and beyond with systems from Eurostop

DAKS, the quintessential British brand and global retailer, has selected Eurostop to design and build its new e-commerce website.

The new website will replace a non-transactional Flash website and will be integrated with DAKS retail management and stock control systems, which are also provided by Eurostop, making the brand accessible to customers across the UK.

Additional investment provides integration

Jonathan Robb, business systems manager at DAKS, commented: “We have been using the Eurostop head office, point-of-sale and stock control modules for some time now. By utilising Eurostop’s e-commerce solution we are able to fully integrate it with our existing systems thus avoiding the expense and technical issues normally associated with building system interfaces.”

The DAKS marketing team will be able to manage the new transactional site themselves, controlling which products appear on the site from within Eurostop’s e?rmis head office system. Staff will also be able to manage special offers and promotions easily from within the system. The e?commerce site has been designed by Eurostop to meet DAKS’s strict guidelines for branding.

Deborah Loh, e-commerce manager at Eurostop, added: “As more and more retailers are moving towards a multichannel strategy to reach their customers, integration of the different systems becomes a key issue. With our long track record in the fashion sector, Eurostop is able to provide a complete suite of systems to support retailers, whichever channel to market they chose.”
