New role for JC Penney digital chief

JC Penney has announced that Katie Mullen will take the role of chief customer officer after serving as chief digital officer

Mullen will continue to oversee ecommerce strategy and omnichannel development, with an added emphasis on customer marketing, engagement, analytics and more.

A key focus of this new role is driving innovation in digital, data and analytics to transform customers experience.
