Victoria’s Secret adds AI

By Retail Technology | Tuesday January 16 2024

Lingerie icon Victoria’s Secret has partnered with Google Cloud to bring AI and generative AI to its online customers

The  brand and retailer is deploying a generative AI virtual assistant and using AI to optimise inventory forecasting and allow customers to upload and search images as it looks to boost personalisation and inclusivity.

Five key additions will be a generative AI virtual assistant; better product discovery capabilities; transforming search options; prioritising customer sentiment and optimising forecasting and internal operations.

Chris Rupp, chief customer officer, Victoria’s Secret said: “Through this technology, we aim to replicate the intimate nature of connecting with our associates in physical stores through an enhanced online experience for Victoria’s Secret and Victoria’s Secret PINK customers.”
