Kraft Heinz and Clarks among retailers and brands recognised for their use of open, best-of-breed technology by The MACH Alliance

The MACH Alliance has revealed the winners of its 2024 MACH Impact Awards, with Kraft Heinz and Clarks earning inaugural Grand Prix honours.

The third annual awards ceremony took place during the first night of the non-profit industry body’s flagship MACH THREE conference this week in New York City.

The MACH Impact Awards recognise organisations demonstrating value through digital transformation projects that successfully implement a MACH approach. Organisers reported a 20% increase in entries.

The Alliance, which is dedicated to advocating for open, best-of-breed technology ecosystems, handed out 10 MACH Impact Awards, recognising projects from focus industries, and project teams and individuals.

Expanding beyond retail and brands

The 2024 Awards expanded into the categories of travel, tourism and hospitality, and consumer product goods (CPG) manufacturing, as well as launching a “Best New Breaking Ground Project” award for companies paving the way in a new sector.

Two “Grand Prix” awards were also added for “Best Digital Experience” and “Best Overall Change,” selected by the expert panel of judges from the category award winners.

“We are seeing companies implement MACH projects across a growing range of industries and geographic markets like never before, which speaks to the importance of operating a flexible, modern, and composable technology infrastructure,” said Holly Hall, MACH Alliance managing director.

Hall added that the Alliance's 2024 global research discovered that nine in 10 IT decision-makers say composable technology will be instrumental to the success of their organisation in the next five years.
